FAQ

Visa Requirements

When planning a trip to any country, it’s important to check the visa requirements to avoid any surprises at the airport. Visa requirements can vary depending on your nationality and your destination, so it’s always a good idea to check with your embassy or home affairs department for up-to-date information.

Visa costs also vary from country to country, and some countries may have additional costs for certain nationalities. For example, in Tanzania, American citizens have to pay $100 USD for a visa, while most other nationalities pay $50 USD. In Ethiopia, the visa costs $52 USD for most nationalities.

Some countries allow you to apply for a visa online, which can save you time and hassle at the airport. Tanzania, Kenya, Uganda, and Zambia all have online visa application services available for certain nationalities. However, it’s important to check if your nationality is eligible for online visa applications and to follow the instructions carefully.

If you plan to get a visa on arrival, it’s important to check if this option is available for your nationality and destination. Always check with the official entities to avoid any issues. Additionally, remember that your passport must have at least six months validity to be eligible for a visa.

For example, depending on where you’re going, you may need to get a yellow fever vaccine or take prophylaxis pills to protect against malaria.

It’s important to note that some countries may require proof of vaccination or medication before you’re allowed to enter. So, it’s essential to double-check the specific requirements for your destination before you depart. A travel doctor can help ensure that you have all the necessary vaccinations and medication to protect your health and make your trip as enjoyable as possible.

Accommodation in the starting/ending location

At our company, we understand that every traveler has different preferences and needs when it comes to travel logistics. That’s why we offer flexible options for starting and ending your safari tour.

If you prefer to arrive and immediately start your safari adventure, we can arrange for a prompt pickup at the airport and get you on the road to your first destination. Similarly, if you need to catch a flight right after your safari ends, we can make sure to drop you off at the airport in a timely manner.

However, we always recommend spending at least one night in the city where your tour starts or ends. This way, you can avoid any worries about arriving late or missing your flight, and you can start your safari adventure well-rested and ready for the early morning start.

If you do decide to start your safari immediately after arrival or end it with a drop off at the airport, we suggest booking flights that arrive in the morning on the first day and depart in the evening on the last day. This way, you can have ample time to complete your tour and make your flight without feeling rushed or stressed.
